Let's start with the basics:
If you can't join a gym, you can workout at home, which is where I workout most of my time. Set your goals and go for it, stay focused and be consistent and you will see the results. Your workouts will depend on the type of goals you have:
~ Lose weight?
~ Build bigger muscles?
~ Get toned (lean) muscle?
If you want to lose weight, focus on a great cardio program (running, cycling, swimming, etc.) and high intensity workouts.
If you want to build muscle and get bigger, focus more on lifting weights.
If you want lean muscle, focus on weights to build muscle, but also do cardio or high intensity workouts to get your fat % down. If you want your abs to show, your abdominal fat % needs to be below 10%.
While focusing on working out, remember that eating the right way to get to your goal is the most important. You only get good results if your workouts go hand in hand with a balanced and healthy eating plan. Don't follow diets, just eat according to your goals.

You are what you eat!
Staying the right size is not just a choice for models, but it is part of our job. If we do not fit the clothes, we don't work. Eating the right food is more important than working out. I will share with you my best tips of eating healthy and tasty food.
Let's start with the basics:
Respect yourself and adapt to a new healthy lifestyle.

Water - 8 glasses per day. Water intake varies by individual and you should let thirst guide your intake. Water also aids in weight loss.

Eat 6 times a day (3 main meals +3 healthy snacks), instead of 3 big meals. It will speed up your metabolism, which will help you to lose weight.

Stay away from sugar, it not only causes weight gain but many other health problems.

Sleep 7-8 hours a day.

Focus on eating these healthy foods:
ABS DIET POWER:
A - almonds and other nuts
B - beans and legumes
S - spinach and other leafy vegetables
D - diary
I - instant oatmeal
E - eggs
T - turkey and other lean meat
P - peanut butter
O - olive oil
W - whole wheat/whole grains (bread, pasta, etc.)
E - extra Whey Protein powder (if you workout)
R - raspberries and other fruit
The abs diet power food guide has been explained by Men's health magazine for many years. I believe it is still the healthiest way to eat daily food compared to "quick diets". Quick diets may work for short time, but people will usually pick up all their weight again if they do not change to a healthy lifestyle.
